What is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between you and I, utilizing a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximise your personal and professional potential – living the life you desire.

I utilise an approach to coaching that stimulates an emotional connection of your inner purpose and passion to your outer goals and strategies, bringing about exceptional and sustainable results.

This approach to coaching is called Core Energy Coaching and it operates on the understanding that the challenges you face are often symptoms of an underlying cause. Address only symptoms will have you focus on your actions, which will only be a short-term shift, but no meaningful, long-term solution.  We’ll go to the CORE – focusing on what you really want and creating breakthroughs for what is really holding you back.

The coaching process provides: resolute support, exceptional results, and enduring change.

Life Coaching

One-on-one coaching sessions are designed to do the deep work together based on your specific goals. The process goes to the core, to uncover inner blind spots and cultivate new perspectives which support your success on a sustainable level. The methodology employed, empowers you to dig deeply, honestly, and objectively into your energy and mental programming to assess who you are and who you want to be.  You’ll immediately step into a space held just for you, where you feel empowered to create the life you choose.

Team Coaching

Leadership coaching does not have to be a one-on-one process. Just like coaching a sports team, coaching a work team involves honing both individual skills and group talent.

Team Coaching refers to the process of a single coach working with a team of leaders or a team with leaders and respective team members. The process allows individuals to feel heard, while consciously working towards the common goal.  Team coaching gives members of the group the opportunity to stretch beyond their current abilities and realities and create the life most meaningful to them.

Coaching the CORE – New Leader On-boarding Coaching

Statistics suggest that four out of ten newly promoted managers and executives fail within the first 18 months. In an article published in 2018 by Douglas, it stated that reasons extend from culture mis-fit, failure to build teamwork to unclear process to assimilate new leader into organisation.

There is an unquestionable positive return on investment for offering on-boarding coaching to new leaders. The benefits include but is not limited to improved new hire retention, increased employee satisfaction and subsequently improved business results.

On-boarding coaching can therefore be seen as a win-win for both the organisation and in new leader.

Onboarding coaching is recommended within the first 90 days of an executive hire.

This intuitively designed program helps to ensure that newly hired leaders become solid and productive contributors quickly and effectively. This process supports leaders as they build a foundation for long-term success in their new position or work environment.

Onboarding involves nine areas of strategic focus. These form the basis of the work between the onboard coach, the new executive, the reporting team, and the organization in general:

  1. Confirm and highlight the skills most critical to leading in the new role.
  2. Clarify expected results within team as well as among peers/senior leader.
  3. Assess the leader’s attitudinal state relative to the requirements.
  4. Accelerate the learning curve so the executive’s leadership tone and style are matched quickly to the new role and are informed by the new culture.
  5. Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and gain a robust understanding of others’ organizational points of view.
  6. Build effective and on-going communication channels throughout the organization. Listening skills are the key component in successful communication.
  7. Gain understanding of both the formal and informal decision-making power within the organization.
  8. Deliver early results to establish credibility “then sustain the results.
  9. Support new leaders with tactics and strategies for success.

This program holistically helps to raise the level of consciousness of leaders, allowing them to authentically step into their power and most importantly inspire the same power within their team.  With an increased level of awareness, a new executive can be assured of higher levels of success, resulting in both greater professional fulfilment and a significant return on investment to the organization.

Schedule a 30-minute consultation to review the elements of the CTC Leader Onboarding Program.  There are opportunities to customise as well as add-ons that can supercharge the partnership.
